Round Liner (RL)
These needles are specially designed for drawing lines. The needles are grouped in a round shape and are conical at the tip.
This is accomplished by gently squeezing the tips together and then soldering them almost to the tip. It is only 3 - 5 mm from the tip to the beginning of the soldering.
These needle groups with 3 to 18 needles in the needle sizes 0.25 mm / 0.30 mm / 0.35 mm / 0.40 mm are common. The needle group itself is guided perpendicular to the skin when tattooing.
Liners are unsuitable for filling and shading. Because the soldering point is far to the front and because the needles are grouped together, you should work with very liquid paint.
