In collaboration with the French paper manufacturer Clairefontaine, this watercolour paper Sketchpad was specially designed for use with water-based inks - a clear difference to the usual watercolour papers designed for brushes. Made from 100% cellulose, the watercolour paper prevents heavy bleed-through and has a different feel on both sides of the sheet. Because Molotow™ also cares about their environment, the paper is absolutely acid-free and vegan!
This new generation of watercolour paper is surprisingly dimensionally stable even after large-scale application of the wet colours. Unlike classic watercolour papers, you don't have to soak this sketchpad in water beforehand, but achieve a unique watercolour effect even when dry! The colours are reproduced absolutely faithfully, as the pure white of the paper does not lead to any distortion of the colour.
