Soft Edge Magnum:
Round magnum needles are magnum needles in which the individual needles in the group are further back towards the edge.
Always pull back a little more towards the outside until a soft edge is formed.
These needles ensure that there are no sharp edges when shading and the image becomes more even and with a smooth gradient. Soft shades are a typical application of Soft Edge Magnum needles.
Even portrait artists who work without liner needles often only use Soft Edge Magnums. Soft edge magnums are available in the same sizes as normal magnums, but larger groups of needles are mainly used because the advantages over normal magnums are more evident here. They are offered and used in all needle sizes.
