I AM INK - The First Generation

With the First Generation series, I AM INK introduces a product line that meets the demands of all tattoo artists in application and with the best possible pigment and raw material quality.

The First Generation series deals with the contrasts of black and white, which many in the tattoo industry could not do without. Through the pigment selection of The First Generation, a black has been developed that is almost completely light-absorbing, thus leaving a deep black color impression. These colors are manufactured without carcinogenic substances and thus are not contaminated with PAHs or AAs. The white achieves a high optical density through its crystal structure, and could be described as the ideal white without having to accept excessive contamination from heavy metals.

This top-level formulation makes it possible to already comply with the existing ResAP2008_1 and the very strict REACH regulations from 2022.

I AM INK - First Generation 0 White Rutile Paste:

The White Rutile Paste from I AM INK owes its name to the highest quality of all titanium dioxide modifications. Rutile is the absolute highlight, as it is the whitest pigment of its kind.

I AM INK – First Generation 1 Sumi

1 Sumi stays exactly where you place it into the skin, allowing a modular buildup of dark color impressions. Remember, the world is not just black and white.

I AM INK – First Generation 2 Sumi

A light gray, perfect as a gap filler between tones. These well-thought-out gradations of the Sumi colors, are a gain for every professional tattoo artist.

I AM INK – First Generation 3 Sumi

3 Sumi is the medium gray of the 4 tones of the True Pigment Black base. This color flows into homogeneous shadows.

I AM INK – First Generation 4 Sumi

This is the darkest Greywash gradation among the 4 tones. The perfectly balanced composition makes it possible to achieve soft and homogeneous shading with smooth transitions with Sumi 4 from I AM INK. Speed Dots and Whip Shades are perfectly implemented, making Sumi 4 an indispensable part of every tattoo artist's color collection.

I AM INK – First Generation 5 Blk Lnr

The flow behavior of this ink is described as calmer and therefore more controllable. 5 Blk Lnr is therefore recommended for lineworks with high color strength. The composition of the formula is optimal, due to the deliberate alteration of the pigment/binder ratio.

I AM INK – First Generation 6 True Pigment Black

Made from the black pigment with the Color Index 77266. This color is the "Mother of Black" from I AM INK. Absolutely perfect for deep black fillings. A must-have for every tattoo artist.

I AM INK - The Second Generation

With the Second Generation series, I AM INK introduces a product line based on revolutionary Silverwashes, based on the Sumis of the First Generation. These Silverwashes skillfully combine the technical demands of tattoo artists. With high pigment and raw material quality, they offer countless possibilities to achieve new depths of color and effects.

The Second Generation from I AM INK focuses on a series of mechanically stirred black/white mixtures. They are very easy to work with and deliver optimal results. This series also features an all-rounder black tone, which was developed together with well-known tattoo artists from the lettering sector.

Urban Black 7 is excellent for surfaces and lines. Like the First Generation series, the Second Generation is also free from carcinogenic substances such as PAHs and AAs through its thoughtful pigment selection.

Like the First Generation, this high-level formulation makes it possible to already comply with the existing ResAP2008_1 and the very strict REACH regulations from 2022.

Silver 1

The lightest Silver tone corresponds to the gradation of Sumi 1.

Silver 2

The medium Silver tone corresponds to the gradation of Sumi 2.

Silver 3

The darkest Silver tone corresponds to the gradation of Sumi 3.

I AM INK – Second Generation 1 Silver / 2 Silver / 3 Silver-50 ml

Classic BnG is created with a series of dilutions, starting from its base black. Highlighting with white no longer corresponds to the classic BnG.

Today, many more possibilities are available than in past years. Professional tattoo artists continually amaze us with what is now possible in terms of effects in tattooing. By adding individual droplets of white to the black ink, a depth/coverage is achieved that makes tattoos appear more three-dimensional.

The Second Generation Silverwashes from I AM INK offer you a ready adaptation of their Greywash gradations as Silverwash. Because these colors are mechanically stirred, the black/white mixtures achieve excellent and most uniform mixtures. They are super easy to work with and achieve fantastic results.

Tattoo artists who have made a name for themselves in the lettering scene have come together, and I AM INK has brought an all-rounder black to the market, which is suitable for lines as well as for surfaces.

Lines go easily under the skin and stay where they are. Surfaces can be evenly filled for a clean result. When the new tattoo heals, it may seem that the color darkens afterwards.
